I want to point some attention towards a friend’s site of mine that he created in tribute of one of the highest rated villains of video game history, Sephiroth.

But before I provide that link, I want to tell you more about my friend.

Alex and I first met via Squaresoft fansite work back in the late 90’s.  We had a mutual connection, a webmaster named Shaun, who had introduced us to one another.  Most of our conversation then was based around the recently released Final Fantasy VII and the upcoming Final Fantasy VIII.  The Squaresoft fansite community circle back then was small - there were very few sites - and Alex had one of the better designed sites that focused more on the artwork of Final Fantasy.   Like many children of the internet age who were brought into the series through Final Fantasy VI and Final Fantasy VII, Alex did not really follow Squaresoft on some of their games and choices they made Final Fantasy VIII and beyond.  We fell out of touch for a short time, and his web site dissappeared.  Cut to a few years later, and Alex and I got back in touch with one another and discovered that we had a second shared passion that neither of us had even discovered - music and Nine Inch Nails - and we have managed to stay friends nearly 8 years later.

So that brings us to now - where Alex has hit a bit of a nostalgic kick and re-designed a fansite dedicated to Sephiroth.
