Advent Children Complete Goodness

by Zephyrantes on Jun.17, 2009, under Final Fantasy VII

Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children Complete is out now in North America, and to celebrate, here’s some treats from the director’s cut. First is the remastered version of the Advent: One Winged Angel theme (which sounds more balanced and cleaner, plus has about 45 seconds of new material), second is Omnislash Version 6, an even more awesome update from Version 5 in the original Advent Children.

I have been considering getting a PS3 or a Blu-ray player so I can get this.
Playing Crisis Core recently has gotten me all FF7 excited and what not.

Yeah same…. the only thing is the $35.99 price tag in Canada. But maybe later. I finally got an HD 1080i TV with wicked monster cable, so I might rent it before I buy

If you think the cut on Cloud is surprising, Azim, you should see the whole fight. Let’s just say that our hero loses quite a bit more blood in ACC than the original.

I was able to check it out… definitely a good addition compared to the original release… but nothing to make me run to the store to purchase for

Check out my topic on ACC on the gaming forum. Apparently the changes and additions made for this cut were quite drastic. I think I recall that nearly half an hour of footage was added, and all of it is plot relevant.
